Caregiver Training & Health Workshops in the Klang Valley
Physiotherapist-led training and workshops that put clinical knowledge into the hands of the people doing the daily caring — families, domestic carers, care teams, and organisations.
Recovery Doesn't Stop at the Clinic Door
Most of the care an older or recovering person receives does not happen in a clinic — it happens at home, every day, given by family members and domestic helpers who were never trained for it. When that care is unsafe, both the carer and the person they look after get hurt.
Our workshops close that gap. Led by physiotherapist Thurairaj Manoharan, they take the techniques we use in clinical practice — safe transfers, mobility support, fall prevention, dementia-appropriate exercise — and teach them to the people who need them most, in plain, practical, hands-on sessions.

What is the difference between your workshops and one-to-one physiotherapy?
Our physiotherapy treats the patient. Our workshops and caregiver training teach the people around the patient — family, domestic helpers, and care staff — how to support them safely every day. The two work best together: the patient receives rehabilitation, and the people caring for them learn to continue it correctly at home.
Where are the workshops held?
Wherever suits you. Most caregiver and dementia sessions take place in the home, where we can use your actual setup, across the Klang Valley. Training is also available at our Putra Heights clinic in Subang Jaya, or on-site at your nursing home, care centre, or workplace for group sessions.
Are these group sessions or one-to-one?
Both. Family caregiver training and dementia exercise are usually one-to-one, built around a specific person. Transfer-and-handling training, fall prevention, and the corporate seminar are often delivered to groups — care-home staff, community groups, or company employees.
Who leads the workshops?
They are led by our physiotherapist Thurairaj Manoharan, who has over 13 years of clinical experience and more than 5,000 patients treated. He has spoken at patient support associations for stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and diabetes, and volunteered on rehabilitation missions with Mercy Malaysia.
